Text description provided by the architects. Standing in the living room, one feels like they are in a bird house. Surrounded by bushland and tall gums the 'Bird House’ was designed to have a strong connection to its setting and the abundance of native flora and fauna on the site. The design really brings the outside in, maximises immediate and distant views and encompases the benefits of natural light and natural cross-ventilation.
